I knew today would be busy but didn’t think I’d be wiped out. I ate a barney butter with banana half sandwich for breakfast. I really like barney butter and of course bananas are great.

On the agenda was the doctor for Toby and the donation of toys. I have a video coming for that but you can see Truett putting toys in the box. He insisted on doing it himself.

After that we visited the doctor. Toby has something gross happening with his toe and it’s gotten out of hand. He was prescribed strong antibiotics for it and referred to the podiatrist. We then ate lunch, however, I didn’t really eat a whole lot. In fact, what I did eat was something I shouldn’t no matter how small it was. It was a very delicious mini funnel cake, about the size of my palm.

One of the items I’m recommending this year as a gift is the coolest chopping block ever! These were actually seen on the Nate Berkus show because well, they are just awesome! I personally don’t want to chop on it (but you can), I just want to use it as decoration or perhaps serve cheese and crackers on. What I’d really love is if they could make me a boot one or one the shape of Texas!! How cool would that be?! Each block is made by hand which means no two are alike. I love the craftsmanship in it. I highly recommend it as a gift for that foodie or wine drinker in your life!

I only got one bottle of water in me today. Not much but it’s better than nothing. I also only 1 1/2 DP’s so that’s a good thing. I skipped supper because I just wasn’t hungry. In the mail today came the new Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2011 for the Wii! WOOT! I love her so I’m exited to try this out!

As I write this, I have a bottle of water in hand and no snacks around me. It’s another baby step. I felt good today but I noticed I’m really uncomfortable in all my clothing. I guess because I have gotten so much bigger, I just can’t seem to feel okay in anything. I’m off to finish working.
Funnel cakes reminded me of the carnivals. What was your favorite ride and/or game at the carnival?

I am very interested in your thoughts on Jillian’s new game. I was pretty bummed with 2010. It bored me.
Please let me know your thoughts if you don’t mind. I wouldn’t want to buy it if I am going to hate it.
I’ll let you know Angela!! I’ll be trying it really soon!
First of all .. what in the world is Barney Butter?
Second, you’re such a great mom for teaching your son the importance of giving!
Third, Funnel Cake … yum!
Fourth, that chopping block is HUGE … but gorgeous.
Fifth … that game is just another reason I should have replaced our broken Wii instead of buying that stupid XBox.
Sixth … well, I have no sixth … Happy Thanksgiving! :)
Barney Butter is almond butter, peanut free. It’s VERY good. I actually don’t really like peanut butter but love this. A very healthy alternative;)
Thanks. Once I explained to Truett what we were doing, he was like, “I don’t need my football and cars mom”. awwww, my heart melted. He “got it”.
Chopping block is very cool!
I’ll still love the Xbox always!!! LOL And I’ll be thinking of you next time I’m playing COD! hehe
and Happy Thanksgiving to you love!!!!
I agree they should make a chopping block like that in the shape of TEXAS! I would certainly find a way to own one if they did!
You get a pat on the back from me for teaching your boys the importance of giving. I have tried to instill it in my kids too, and they pretty much get it.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and thank you, for your blogs. They are what helped me decide to start.
Wow, that’s a boatload full of toys. So how was your Thanksgiving? It is so hard to try to moderate what goes in my mouth at the holidays. Today is the first day I didn’t wake up feeling sick from going to bed with my stomach absolutely full. :(
