Let me start by saying, in all my years (I’m 39, been married over 22yrs), I’ve never been inclined to sell anything. ANYTHING. It’s never been my thing and to be perfectly honest with you, I was huge skeptic of everything. For a good year, I had been hearing about Young Living Essential Oils nonstop from so many people, raving about how well they work for an array of things, that finally, it peaked my curiosity.
One of the moments I realized I wanted Young Living Essential Oils in my life, is when Truett was on day 5 of fever, and I was pouring Motrin and Tylenol in him like it was liquid candy. I just kept thinking to myself, “Good grief, this can’t be good for him either!”. I’m not gonna lie and tell y’all that I’m a super healthy person, eating organic, and all that jazz but I will say, that if I can make small changes to better our health, then I will make the effort to at least try. I can still remember visiting my grandma and thinking how her nightstand was a practically a pharmacy with so many prescribed medications. Don’t think for one minute that I won’t go to the doctor or ER….but, I’m an old soul in many ways and I know that essential oils have been used for years, and years, and years. Why? Because they work. Just like anything else, you have to educate yourself on how to use them but once you do, you’ll wish they had been in your life sooner. I like to do things the way they did ‘back in the day,’ if possible, and Young Living Essential Oils allows that to happen in so many ways. If I can use a PURE essential oil to help my son’s fever and cough vs tablespoons of medicine, and it works, then I’m gonna go that route!
