Southwest Chopped Salad, Pretzel Sticks, and Premium Steak

By A Cowboy's Wife | July 6, 2012

I’m always getting the opportunity to try new food items and one of my most recent trips included the three mentioned; Southwest Chopped Salad, Pretzel Sticks, and Premium Steak.  There were many other items as well but these three were my favorites.

I’ll start with the Marketside Southwest Chopped Salad.  These salads are found in the produce section at Walmart, already bagged, and ready to go.  I don’t know if you’ve had the chance to try some of the Marketside products yet but I’ve always loved their pizza, subs, and soups.  They have such a fresh taste and easy on the checkbook.  The Southwest salad was fantastic!!  I loved the crunchy strips of tortillas.  The seasoning was perfect with just a little kick.  They have several other varieties as well so check those out next you’re in.

Okay y’all…these were so good that me and the gals probably ate at least 4 each of the Marketside Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, no joke!   They had sauces for us to dip them in but I just wanted to devour them just like they were.  These are a must have at your next get-together.  5 stars from me fo sho!

Finally, we eat premium steak, from Walmart.  This beef is excellent and can be found in the black packaging with the USDA Choice stamp on the front.  It’s high quality cuts of beef and even comes with a 100% money back guarantee.  booyah!  What I love about quality cuts of beef is that you only need salt and pepper as a seasoning.  The flavors of the steak will come out on their own, leaving you licking your lips.  The marbling throughout the steak is perfect and is what gives you those flavors.  I actually don’t eat a lot of steak but I ate every single bite I got that night.  Remember, it’s in black packaging and his the label on it –

Look for them, buy them, devour them.

Hubby likes their subs. We’ll have to try those pretzels and steaks. Commissary prices have really gone up and we traveled out of town to go to the commissary. So next major grocery shopping time, we are thinking about trying Walmart and seeing if I do better there than the commissary. Our commissary selection has really gone down since they built the new commissary too, so I found I couldn’t use as many of my coupons as I did in the past. I’m thinking Walmart may have as big, if not bigger selection of foods now, except maybe in the frozen vegetables section.

I just had the Southwest Chopped Salad that I bought at Walmart today. I think it is the best salad I have had in a long time. I usually never buy prepackaged salads, but I thought I might try this for a change. It was Delish!
