I’m still learning coupons but I do know these changes that Walmart made in the coupon policy are all good changes. Below is a copy of their policy but you can also find it at their site. And if you like, you can give your feedback on it as well through the feedback survey. I highly suggest you check out Deal Seeking Mom’s blog for future updates, conversation, and deals.
Due to some confusion, Walmart has updated their policy.

thanks for the heads up!!! I’m going in tomorrow to use some 2.00 off coupons on 1.97 items, so this should clear up any problems there may be!
Because it’s new Maurine, please be sure to print out a copy of the policy! :) And let me know how it goes!
Does this mean it’s going to be harder to find a place to use the FREE coupons we get through Facebook promotions, etc.? One of our local grocery stores doesn’t take internet coupons for free items, though I always thought Walmart did. Sometimes it’s hard enough finding a store that carries the product, let alone worrying about the coupon not being accepted.
If you have to print them, then no, you can’t use them and I’m surprised that anyone takes those kinds anymore. There’s so much fraud happening with internet printed “freebies” that I thought most stores quit carrying them.
If you are sent a coupon for a “free item” then that is acceptable….
Wow! That pretty much beats the competition in my neck of the woods! At my Giant, they only “double” the FIRST coupon if you have more than one of the same item and multiple coupons. Imagine my surprise when I bought six tubes of toothpaste with 75-cent coupons and only the first one was doubled. Ugh!!
Of course, if Walmart would start doubling, I would shop nowhere else! LOL.
I sure wish they would do the double and triple coupons! Yes, I’m a miser! LOL
