There’s a new talk show in town, The Talk, set to debut on October 18th. The show will be from six women who all have children and will include topics that all moms can relate to. The hosts are Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur.

I’ve heard many folks compare the show to The View but I think the big twist is here is that much of the talk will revolved around motherhood. From what I know about each of the cast members, I think there is definitely a good amount of diversity both in ethnicity and in lifestyle (aside from being celebs of course). Leah Remini is into Scientology I believe. Sara Gilbert is gay I think. Holly Peete has a special needs child and I’m not sure about the others….I think Julie Chen is great though and I really do love her. I’ll definitely be watching the show to see if it will become on of my faves or just another show.
Beth from Rolemommy reached out to me to see if I wanted to ask a couple of the ladies a question and of course I was happy to. My hard hitting question would be given to Julie Chen and Leah Remini (I adore both!) and their response was given via video. Watch and see what I asked and how they answered.

Lori- That was a great question, and very relevant to what they’ll be going through with opening their “personal parenting life” up to an audience of strangers. I think they’ve got a great group of women, and I’ll be curious to see how the show goes.
And we don’t need to hear your opinion, so stick a sock in it! HAHA!! Good question. You just have to have tough skin around these parts…
Excellent question Lori. It sounds like these 2 ladies know and are prepared for what they’re getting into. They also sound like are really cool with just who they are as moms, and that will help deflect any criticisms that they will surely get. Can’t wait for this show!!
great question, cool to see cowboyswife getting some nice pub by the media!
