Toby is 14 today. Wow. I feel old. I don’t post a lot of photos of him because he doesn’t really like me to do so but today is an exception to the rule. I’ve written about Toby before. He’s pretty awesome. He’s exceptional with Truett. He plays with him and is always making sure he’s okay. He’s a pretty cool big brother, no doubt.
If you’ve ever met Toby, you’d know right off that he’s way more mature than kids his age. He’s never been into the silly things that most kids his age do and will many times roll his eyes at that type of behavior. His size 10 shoe and the fact that he’s taller than his 16yr old brother makes people think he’s much older too. I have to remind him constantly that he’s not older……..
Toby’s sarcastic humor reminds me of me. His love for variety reminds me of me. I look forward to each day with him and hope that he has an awesome 14 & beyond. Happy Birthday Toby, I Love You.

I’m sure you hear this all the time but I think this is the first time I’ve seen Toby, your boys sure do look a lot like you. I hope Toby has a wonderful birthday and doesn’t grow up too fast.
It’s a strange feeling watching your kids get older, how they seem to drag you right along with them in age.
