For me, this is one of the best things about being a blogger, being able to give back to the community in some way so I was excited when Avery approached me about their ‘Give Back to Schools’ promotion. Not only are they helping our school, you can win cash and supplies for your school!
Through September 17, 2012, you can find your school (or add it to the list), register, and get all the votes you can every day.
The top 5 vote-getting schools will receive:
- 25,000 Box Tops for Education coupons
- $10,000 worth of Avery school supplies
- $1,000 worth of gift cards
The 25 runner-up schools will each receive:
- 10,000 Box Tops for Education coupons
10 random winners with more than 100 votes will receive:
- 5,000 Box Tops for Education coupons
Can you imagine your school getting that?!! And let me tell ya, those box tops make a HUGE difference and can go a long way so I encourage you to save them and give them to your child’s school or donate them to a school who could use them. They add up quickly and can help get the school cash. And please guys, enter up in the sweepstakes and get everyone to vote for your school!!

I don’t have kids but work at a school. The teachers inspire me because they are so dedicated to teaching these kids. They work hard and use their own money for supplies sometimes. This would be a great prize for the school

Mr. Moss in 5th grade! He encouraged me even after we moved back to Texas! For my high school graduation he sent me a letter telling me that no matter what came up in my life I could make it through! We kept in comtact from 1988 when we moved till 2005! He passed away before I graduated from college to become a teacher, but his wife sent me a note of how proud he was of me. He is the reason I am a teacher today!

One of the main things I love about my children’s school is that there is very much a familial atmosphere. The older kids look out for the younger ones. My children are challenged but loved. The teachers are nurturing but not enabling. The list of things I love is incredibly long, but I am beyond grateful!

My girls go to a tiny little 10 sutdent school, this is new for us, where is used to be 25 in a class. I like the connections they have together, like they have lunch and snacks and recess all together. I think I just love country living! Thats way cool they donated so much to your school, I love saving box tops and labels for education.

My 2nd grade teacher inspired me to have such a love of reading. She always thought each book and subject was a key to open your imagination and mind.
