Actually, the baby raccoons are in the shop-barn wall, five of them from what we could see. My husband could hear their little noises & whimpers and after investigating, noticed they looked stuck. We had to unscrew the tin on the outside of the barn wall to get to them. We moved them around a bit and propped the tin just slightly open so that their momma could get to them easier and hopefully move them. They were very small still and not too feisty, mostly scared I reckon.

Oh wait, that’s not a raccoon..although he’s adorable and mischievous like one! Camera shy you think?

So cute! I’ve never seen a baby raccoon up close.
I love the pictures, but especially of your son…what happened to his jeans? Don’t little cowpokes wear them anymore? LOL
ROFL! I’m hoping it’s a stage. I don’t know why but every time he gets back from somewhere, he immediately takes his pants off. We had last minute chores to do at the barn and he didn’t want to take the 2 minutes to put his pants back on. Lazy little boy! He loves his underwear though! lol
Is this the same little wrangler from the other post? Those raccoon babies are too cute, and you guys are very brave- I’d be scared the mama would be nearby. They scare the crap out of us city folk- going into our garbage and such.
Oh look how cute. They are adorable when they are babies.
Your son is just adorable too!
They make great pets.. we have had several.. we would keep them until they got old enough to wonder off into the woods..
They are so cute, I’m not sure that they are usually very nice creatures, at least not around here, but they are very cute
I too had always been discouraged from handling them to prevent spread of disease ad getting bit.
You get the best shots of your son, he is so cute!
