Beats by Dre Headphones are legit y’all.  At least that’s what my son says.  I didn’t know ‘legit’ had come back on the cool vocabulary list?  Anyways, Beats headphones are a hot item for Christmas every year, and all with good reason; awesomeness.

I am amazed at how they put such incredible sound into these headphones.  The bass is heart pounding and you can hear every little sound, they way the artist meant for you to hear it.

I remember when Toby first showed me these a few years ago. He had been talking about them forever and honestly, I couldn’t imagine paying such a hefty price for headphones.  And then I listened. OMYCOW!  I felt like I had been teleported off to a nighclub, jamming out and showing my dancing skills to Baby Got Back.  What?  Is that not normal for a 37 year old mom?  ‘Cause I got skills y’all….there’s just a little more that moves around now than back in the old days!

Okay, so maybe there are moms out there who are more interested in specs, durability, and justifying the cost.  This is for you.

First, Toby actually has a pair of the Beats by Dre that cost him $299.  They are wired though, and in white.  He has had them for 4 years.  4 years y’all!  And he can still use them, but he has since had to replace the cord and the battery cover has been lost.  He also does have a piece of duct tape securing a spot where they are just used.  This all in the last 6 months.  They are worn out quite a bit but Toby has used these things 24/7.  Every chance he could have them on, they were on.  He carried them on the bus trips to games, our family travel trips, and even just laying his room when he wants to ignore us, using the ol’ “I can’t hear you” trick.  -.-

Each type of Beats headphones has its own ‘legit’ features.   This particular pair are bluetooth, have a built-in mic and convenient control buttons that sit on the earcup for hands-free mobile calling, music control, and volume. They are powered by rechargeable USB batteries and travel light!  They fold up and come with a very nice case.

Moms, sometimes you get what you pay for and let me tell you, we have gone through headphones, until we bought these.  They have lasted Toby forever, have amazing sound & features, and truly are the best of the best.  I am thrilled to be able to give Toby a new pair to replace his old ones.  He has no clue and will never see it coming this Christmas!

    Beats by drew over ear with control talk white. I would give these to my son if I won he started asking for them this past year. After reading your post about the use your son got out of them perhaps they are not as bad an investment as I thought lol !! I was thinking that much on a pair of head phones. . No way ha! !
