Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

Do you ever just wanna curl up on the sofa and indulge in food & tv for a couple of hours? Here lately, it’s ALL I wanna do. I was thinking about my favorite comfort dessert and well, my grandma’s banana pudding is all that came to mind but I didn’t have the ingredients, so this is what you get!  Pretty darn good y’all!  Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

Serves: 9
Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line an 8x8 baking dish with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Grease either the aluminum foil or parchment paper with shortening. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add in the flour, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix together.
  3. Add in the egg, melted butter, and salt. Mix together.
  4. Fold in the baking powder and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 25 minutes. Allow the brownies to completely cool before cutting.

    I have made these more than a few times. Always come out great. If I take them to an event there’s never a left.
