Every since Tyler was little, he’s always had this incredible work ethic. He’s also pretty strong. I can still remember when he was 6mths old, pulling himself out of the swing, holding on the side of the sofa. We had a wooden sofa with cushions. He was just hanging there…I couldn’t believe it. Then when he was 5, the age he is below in his first branding, he would insist on feeding the horses. This meant that he had to drag 50lbs feed sacks and lift them up onto the feed troughs to pour feed out. THAT is a hard worker.
16 now and Tyler still has an amazing work ethic. He’s always staying busy with breaking horses, doing chores, playing sports, and still can’t seem to just sit around for a few minutes. Who ever gets him as their ranch hand will be darn lucky to have him.

I love your pictures and this is sooo sweet!
Way to go Mama

Looks like you must be doing something right, mom! What a strong boy you’ve got!
I’m hoping my boys will end up the same way. So far my oldest is a good helper out on the farm and stays out with hubby for hours even when it’s cold. Thankfully hubby is a good role model and I’m sure you’re husband is too! Thanks or sharing!

You must be so proud of him! Awesome photos!
Gotta Love those boys, mine is only three, but sure he will be 16 in a blink of an eye!
I think ranch kids are built tough. I always love watching the younger ones because they want to help as much as the big ones.

I know you must be proud of him. :) Can he come give my 7-year-old a lesson in work ethic?

That’s just another one of the fabulous perks that ranch life provides! Love that the kids leave home with a strong work ethic. Heaven knows it’s become a rarity these days! Ya’ll have done a good job!
