WOOHOO!! I was recently approached about becoming one of Wal-Mart’s Eleven Moms and immediately jumped on it. I am a Wal-Mart shopper–always have been, always will be. When you are living on a cowboy’s wages, Wal-Mart is a lifesaver! We buy our groceries there, our Christmas presents there, and everything in between.
Anyways, what I love about being apart of this super huge retail corporation is that I get to share my thoughts and opinions about things that are important like saving money. With today’s economy, I think we can all stand to save some bucks here and there. Of course this is also something that will bring me exposure…I know that sounds selfish but after a year and half of working on my blogs and brand, I feel it’s deserved. I’m absolutely honored to be amongst a brilliant group of ladies and adore them all. While I know most of them, a few of them I will need to get to know more and I can’t wait!
I realize many have some concerns with Wal-Mart but from what I’ve heard from the group already, they really care about what we think and are striving to make their store and employees the best that they can be.
This is a wonderful opportunity and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!
Oh! And if you have a money-saving idea, create and submit a video to the Wal-Mart Youtube Channel for a chance to win some groceries! And not just a few groceries..try a year’s worth!!! There will be 10 winners!
