Christmas is almost here and that means gifts, family, and food! Oh man, the food. I don’t know about you but I always overeat during this time so I’ll be glad when it’s over and I can start the New Year off fresh! Until then, here are a couple of sides that I’ll be making just in case you need a few meal solutions.
With the 4-pack of Green Giant green beans that are on sale ($2) and the Swanson Chicken Broth ($.50) at our Walmart, I’ll be making Green Bean Casserole.
To crave the appetites of the little ones while the big meal is being done, I’ll probably make some pigs in a blanket. The Lit’l Smokies are on sale for $2.50 and the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls are on sale for a $1.58! WOOT!
For dessert, I’ll be using Daisy Sour Cream on sale for $1.58 to make Sour Cream Apple Pie with Streusel Crumble Topping.
