One of the things I love about kids going back to school, is being able to clean my home and it actually staying clean longer. Funny how that is huh? Well for two weeks, I’ve been letting Mrs. Meyer clean my home. Okay, not actually a person came and cleaned my home. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t ever heard of Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning products before when it was mentioned that I’d be reviewing them, there are were tons of ladies who praised them.
When the cleaning products arrived, I’ll admit, I wasn’t impressed. They were plain bottles with plain labels. So before I did anything, I went to their website to read about them to get a little insight. The first thing I read – These products were inspired by a mother of nine. NINE<—-Lord knows there had to be a ton of cleaning going on there! And then I saw where they are earth-friendly and cruelty-free. Mrs. Meyer is that woman of nine and a real person. Her daughter was inspired by her to create these products. I loved the whole story already. So I went straight to using them.
Because laundry plays a major role in our home, I started with the laundry detergent and fabric softener. Each cleaning product has a fact or hint or something on it. When I flipped the bottle over on the laundry detergent, it said that ONE TABLESPOON will wash your clothes. Wow. That’s an awful big statement to make but I put it to the test and was completely impressed. COMPLETELY! It’s no wonder my friend Tara has raved on and on about these products. My clothes were clean and had a wonderful smell to them. They felt soft and I was excited to see that such a small amount did such a big job. I guess if there’s anyone that would know how to clean more, with less..it’s a mother of nine reckon?
I was also very impressed with the toilet cleaner. We have hard water which wears on our toilets so I feel like it makes stains come alive even more. I’ve only found one other product that works well on our toilets but then I tried Mrs. Meyer’s cleaner and I can’t praise it enough. I poured it in, walked away for a bit, and came back to see it was already removing the gunk. I didn’t even have to scrub like I normally do. I was a believer at this point.
All the products have worked like they say. You need very little of them, they smell wonderful, and they actually work. Being environmentally safe and cruelty free are just icing on the cake. I absolutely recommend them. I really want to try the dishwasher packets and room freshener!

Thanks for the post, we have very hard water and I’ve never been able to find a product that is able to remove the stains. I’m going to have to go out and find Mrs. Meyers and give it a spin. I also like the part about using a concentrated liquid in the laundry. It would save on packaging and anything I can do to help the environment I’ll do.
