With the holidays around the corner and layaway in full force, I thought I’d round up mine and Truett’s favorite toys. Truett is 5, turning 6 September 25th, to give you an idea of his age group.
His most favorite toy is the 6 Lane Hot Wheel Raceway. He plays with this all the time and loves to see which car will when. He also loves the Hot Wheels Wall Tracks and the Double Dare Snare.
I cannot recommend Leapfrog products enough. They have truly helped Truett learn everything from his ABC’s to learning to read. He loves them, I love them, and I feel like they’re a great investment. The Leapfrog LeapPad is awesome.
If you’re looking for a bigger gift item, you know, something that Santa might bring, check out the Power Wheels Ford F-150. While I’d prefer a Chevy, this Ford will do. ;) Truett has a blast with this truck. He has even hauled a bag of birdseed around, throwing it out all over the yard so the birds will have food. He hauls all sort of things in it!
He LOVES to wake up to his Spongebob Alarm Clock. It’s also a great way to teach them to get up on there own! His face is down and when the alarm goes off, it pops up! It can be set to music, singing, or the foghorn sound that Spongebob wakes up to in his cartoons. I know it’s not a toy but I love it This is from Nickelodeon but there are cute Disney ones too.
SPIDERMAN! This was one of those toys that I thought Truett wouldn’t play with very long but he absolutely loves this web slinger and mask. He waits for his dad to get home, hides behind the door and attacks with him with his ‘web’. lol The mask fits very well Truett says and it’s been very durable. Great gift idea!
