Orange Glazed Salmon

By A Cowboy's Wife | January 28, 2014

I have been eating a lot of salmon lately so I’m trying new things to switch up the taste.   Today, I’m sharing a delicious orange glazed salmon recipe that is so good y’all, and I used fresh, navel oranges!

Orange Glazed Salmon Recipe

We have a big section of navel oranges at our Walmart.  I took a quick pic while I was there.  All the oranges looked so pretty and ready to eat. I knew I had to get a few for us to have as a healthy snack, and to cook with too.   I’ve mentioned this before but it’s worth saying again. Walmart has a 100% freshness guarantee on produce. If you’re not happy with your produce, take your receipt back to them for a refund, no questions asked.

There are so many recipes you can make using navel oranges.  Nicole made some french toast, Sheena made some citrus chicken orzo soup, and Caryn made a gluten-free scone!  I went the obvious salmon because I’m trying so hard to eat healthier and while this recipe calls for brown sugar, it’s still a whole lot healthier than fast food or cake, right?   This recipe is also for one salmon portion because that’s what I’ve been cooking up for me at lunch.  You can easily adjust it though.  Hope you guys enjoy!
