Protecting Your Pet this Summer

Ticks are everywhere but as you can imagine, when you live out in the boonies like we do, they can be even worse!  It’s so important to take the necessary steps to help keep them off of your pets!  An affordable, easy way to do this, is by using Adams™ Flea and Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies.  It’s not only important for your pet’s health, but for yours as well so I’m tickled to be partner up with the Adams™ brand to write this post.  My pets mean everything to me and I want to ensure I’m doing everything I can to protect them this summer!

Something else I love about these collars is that not only do they protect your pet from fleas and ticks, but also mosquitoes!  If you live in an area that gets a little more rain than we do, then this will be extra helpful!

First off, the collar is plenty long enough for even the biggest dog!  It has grooves, that once through the “belt buckle”, keeps it in place.  Then you simply trim off the excess.  I used one on my very smallest dog to my biggest dog (and he has a big neck!).  These are my pets; (left to right) Biscuit, Scout, and Trigger.

It took all of 5 minutes to put the collars on and trim the excess.  It’s super easy to use and the dogs don’t seem to mind them one bit!

Each container comes with 2 collars, they are water resistant and offer up to 6 months of protection each retailing between $19.99 and $24.99. I don’t know about y’all, but when you live on a cowboy’s wages, you can’t afford vet bills. This is a simple way to help protect your dogs (and your budget) from potential health issues that they could have from ticks, not to mention the monthly tick & flea applications that vets want you to use and the cost that goes with them.

The Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies can be found at your local Walmart or on Walmart.com, in these visual red tins. Visit http://bricks.coupons.com/Bstart.asp?o=131587&c=HU&p=7v1oBWTX for more detail and a money-saving coupon (available for a limited time).

In celebration of the new collar, Adams PetCare is conducting a contest where pet owners can win $1,000 in prizes by submitting their dog’s selfie. Top honors will go to entries that capture the pride a dog feels when pest-free. No purchase necessary. See for details.

Have you taken the steps to protect your dogs and puppies from ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes?  If not, I highly recommend these collars.
