I have used Rachael Ray’s garbage bowl for years now but recently tried her new 2-pc suction lid set. Let me tell you, they are super cool! This is such a great alternative to plastic wrap!
You simply place the lid on your bowl, pull up to suction all the air up, and let go. To put these lids to the big test, I used a bowl with ‘wings’ that might cause for less suction but as you can see, it worked perfectly. I picked up the bowl and everything!
Sooo cool huh! On top of that, these are heat resistant, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and come two in a set to insure you have the right size lid for just about any size bowl you own. This would be a fun, useful gift for the foodie in your life or even at the next wedding shower! The 2pc set is just $14.96 but there is also a 3pc suction lid set for $19.96.

Remember, Mother’s Day is coming up fast! I was so excited to see all these at Walmart and at great prices, as usual. Be sure and keep the lids on your list when you’re searching for that next gift. These were very handy to have and MUCH better than plastic wrap!

OMGodness! I need these! For the past couple of years we have slowly been switching to reusables rather than throw away wherever we can. It is good for the environment,and that is what got me started. But the impact on my budget–buying fewer disposables and spending less in the long run–is what keeps me motivated.
