2 Generations and a Dog

By A Cowboy's Wife | July 15, 2008

It’s very sweet to see the kiddos hanging out with their Wello (Abuelo for you perfectionists).  I really love to watch my father-in-law share peanuts or some other little food with my little man because I know that he’s come a long ways.  See, there was a time when his kids were younger when he hated sharing.  In fact, he wouldn’t share and he would even hide food in his room.  I guess when you have 8 kids though you’ve got to hide some or it will be gone it less than a minute.

The dog, Killer.  Not to original but fitting none the less.  My F-n-L bought him at a flea market along with some chickens, guineas, and turkey.  Oh, he was a cute little pup for about 3 minutes until we put him in the cage with all the chickens and turkey.  He left the chickens alone but one little turkey was not so fortunate.  Once he grabbed a holt of that thing, he was NOT letting go.  My husband had to crawl in that 5ft cage and drag that pup out.  Sad to say, turkey did not make it and that’s how the pup got his name.

Thank you all for being so supportive about my mistaken pregnancy.  I really do appreciate it! Not it’s time to go take some Phentermine so that doesn’t happen again.

That is one precious picture. Sadly my children don’t get to know who their grandfathers are and that picture touched my heart. Thanks for sharing it :-)
