Creative Recipes Using the Limited Edition Gingerbread Oreo Cookies

By A Cowboy's Wife | October 31, 2012

You know it’s Fall when the leaves turn colors and you can smell gingerbread in the air.  This year, Oreo has brought us that wonderful smell in their Limited Edition Gingerbread Oreo cookies!

When you open the package of Gingerbread Oreos, I promise, you’re just gonna take a big ol’ whiff-close your eyes-and smile.   They were a big hit at our house but that’s really no surprise. We love ALL the Oreo flavors!   Where do you think all the generics got their inspiration from? The best, that’s where!  Oreo’s Rock!

I found several recipes that incorporated the Limited Edition of Gingerbread Oreo cookies.  Enjoy!

Gingerbread Oreo Truffles from Erika.  DROOL!

Pumpkin Gingerbread Cheesecake from Tina – Total comfort food!

Gingerbread Pumpkin Bites from Liz – Definitely a kid favorite!

Gingerbread Cookie Pudding from Denise – YUM!

Gingerbread Oreo Brownies with Orange with Rum Infused Whipped Cream from Jenn – Whoa!  I want that!

And of course mine – Lemon Custard with Gingerbread Cookie Crust

I think you’ll find that the Gingerbread Oreo cookies got rave reviews and judging by the recipes created with them, I’d say they’re gonna knock your socks off too!  Let the holidays begin YO!

I’ve never been a big gingerbread fan myself but I bet I’d like them with that pudding.
