Lucky Spurs

By A Cowboy's Wife | July 27, 2008

When my husband makes these bits and spurs, all I can think about it where they’ll end up.  Who’s gonna have them, what will they do with them??  He works so hard on them that I hope who ever ends up owning them appreciates them some.

Anyways, I don’t feel like blogging…..just gonna leave you with these “lucky” spurs:)

I love to look at his work. He should have a website to sell his things. Post more as he finishes them. They are wonderful.

First off, I have only been reading your website for the last 2 weeks and I love it!

Second, I collect spurs and I love your husbands “lucky spurs.” If I had them in my collection I would totally appreciate all the hard work that went in to making them. Who ever ends up owning them some day is going to be one “lucky” person.

They’re just beautiful. I’d love to have a pair, just to have a pair. Amazing quality and workmanship. I love seeing items like this that people make. You can see the “love” of what’s being created.

They couldn’t understand at Atwoods when I went in to buy some horseshoes for decorations in my house. The salesman was almost bitter because he said more people come in to buy them for decor than to use them.

thank you for those nice words. Several times through the year we have one guy who buys spurs from us…then he either trades them off or sells them on ebay……..
