Here’s a cookie that Santa won’t pass up this year! A chocolate kiss is hidden in a crunchy, buttery shortbread cookie which is enrobed in red and white chocolate to make a cute Santa hat. Your kiddos will love helping with these cookies, and will be proud to leave them for the big guy on Christmas Eve. Santa Hats will add color and holiday cheer to a platter of treats and be a hit at a cookie exchange.
These cookies are just a little more work than a regular ol’ cookie but man, it’s so worth it! How fun are they?!
You can buy Hershey’s Kisses at Walmart for $2.88. Almond bark can be used for so many things; on pretzels, popcorn, and more but feel free to use white chocolate if that’s your preference. As I said before, these are great for the kiddos and Santa but by showing the Santa Hat cookies in the wine glass, it gives you a more grownup look so you don’t have to worry about serving at the office party. You can use a standard wide, round wine glass or you can go all out with an oversized wine glass. It costs a bit more but it’s something you could bring out every single year. If you’re like me, you’ll just buy one or two new things for the Christmas decorating/entertaining season. I look at it as an investment so I don’t buy a bunch of little things, I usually spend a little more on one thing that I love.
Enjoy y’all and Merry Christmas!
