When you live in the middle of nowhere Texas, you don’t get to town to grocery shop as much as others do. It’s imperative that I take every initiative I can to make all my food last longer, especially produce. That’s why I was so excited to partner up with Rubbermaid and try out their FreshWorks containers! We live 30 minutes from the nearest town so I can’t aways run to get fresh produce so I usually buy in bulk and we either try to hurry and eat before it goes bad or it goes bad. I hate to waste food y’all!
The FreshWorks containers claim to keep produce fresh for up to 80%* longer than not using the containers. Does it work? I’m here to tell you that YES, yes it does!!! It was so exciting because blueberries tend to go bad really fast and that lasted for days! Our cherry tomatoes were bought over a week ago and still like fresh! I’m so sold that I’ve bought even more FreshWorks containers for ALL my produce!
These sizes are very generous! The large holds A LOT of grapes!
Some things to know about the FreshWorks Produce Containers:
- FreshVent membrane never needs to be removed or replaced!
- Condensation on the inside means the product is working!
- All components are dishwasher safe.
- BPA FREE
- It’s best NOT to wash or cut the produce before putting it inside the containers.
It’s so important to us for Truett to eat more fresh fruits & vegetables. I love how well these work and plan to use them from here on out!
