We are a HUGE gamer family. While we love our video games, we are crazy about board and electronic games as well. So many family moments and laughs can happen through playing games together and so when I had the opportunity to review the Hedbanz™ electronic game, I jumped on it!
Hedbanz™ Electronic is the fast-paced, team-based electronic version of the quick-question game of “What Am I?”
There are 3 main pieces to this game. You have the cards, the electronic timer, and the headbands that you wear on your head! Players pick a partner, put on a headband and grab a card. Players wear a “picture card” in their headband, and then quickly ask questions to figure out what they are. For example: “Am I food?” “Am I a vegetable?” “Am I ketchup?” There’s 3 ways to guess and give clues to figure out what’s in your headband:
- ask “yes” or “no” questions
- have your teammates tell you about it
- have your teammates act it out!
Toby and Truett wanted a mega challenge so they opted to not act it out and only ask yes or no questions. It was much harder than they thought. The more they played, the better they got at figuring out what questions to ask.
This video was when they first started playing and were struggling but it gives you an idea of how it works.
We had a ton of fun playing this as a family! If you’re looking for a fun, family game this holiday season, we highly recommend the Hedbanz™ Electronic game. It has an electronic host that runs the game and keeps score for you and I love that it holds everything together in one simply storage so it’s not gonna take up a lot of room.
This game is less than $15 bucks y’all. It’s a steal and worth every cent. Bringing family together for some fun game time, well, that’s priceless!
