Christmas is less than a week away, yikes! Nothing sends me into a panic quite like the knowledge that the biggest holiday of the year is right around the corner and realizing that I still have several people on my shopping list left to buy for. I’m usually very good about doing all of my holiday shopping early on in the year, starting in early August or September at the latest but somehow this year I seem to have slacked and am now doing double time to get all of those last minute gifts!
Unfortunately I missed Black Friday this year, so, I wasn’t able to get in on the great deals that everyone has been talking about but thankfully it’s the season of amazing deals so there’s still time for some lucrative shopping opportunities. I’m not sorry to admit that I’ve been trolling some of my favorite sites lately in an effort to keep tabs on the hottest deals but it wasn’t until I was doing my daily stalking of Amazon that I found the best deal I’ve seen yet: the Cricut Explore Air 2.
Normally these retail at around $300 but right now on Amazon they’ve undergone a price drop and customers can save a pretty penny if they buy from the site now. If you’re a crafter who has coveted a Cricut machine in the past or who already has a machine and is looking to upgrade, then I would definitely recommend heading over to Amazon and taking a look while they’re still on sale. These nifty machine would also make an ideal Christmas gift for anyone on your list who enjoys the creative process and making cards, 3D paper crafts and more, all from scratch.
Like its predecessors who are known for their magic dye cutting skills, the Cricut Explore Air 2 is ideal for those whose hobbies include scrapbooking and various other projects. This model is capable of cutting through over 100 different materials, like leather or thick vellum, making it a versatile little workhorse for any DIY crafter. It also comes with a handy Cricut Mobile App as well as some pre-designed projects that you can play around with before starting your own.
Already gotten your Christmas cards printed up and sent out? No problem, the Cricut Explore Air 2 is meant for so much more than scrapbooking and customized cards. You can now upload and cut out your own artwork, absolutely free. Once you upload your desired files you can turn around and turn your art into home decor, cards, gifts, fashion pieces and more! The Explore 2 Air allows you to design on your computer, iPad, or iPhone with Design Space–a free, cloud-based, easy-to-use software that allows you to edit, customize and preview your projects.
Additional features of the Circuit Explore Air 2 include but aren’t limited to:
- Completely wireless with built in Bluetooth.
- Cricut image library with over 60,000 images to choose from.
- 50,000 printable images with 920 printable patterns.
- Cut intricate designs with ultimate precision.
